After leaving university I qualified as a pilot and after a few years was promoted to Training Captain. In 1990 I joined the UK Civil Aviation Authority as a flight operations inspector. Following 6 years in the authority I left and help set up Flying Colours Airlines, and as part of the management assisted in getting the AOC and various approvals, finally managing the set up of the quality and safety department. I continued to fly as a senior captain on the B757. I now have my own consultancy business providing the above services to a number of major carriers. |
