Specific Activities
1. Simply an expansion of the above and would include such subjects as advice on the drawing up of documentation for the use of flight crews and interpretation of the Flight Manual. 2. Lecturing on experience of both manufacturing test flying and certification flying for the CAA. 3. Dispensing of knowledge of supersonics based on many years experience on development and testing of Concorde.
Background
15 years as General Duties Officer (pilot) in the Royal Air Force - voluntarily retired in the rank of Squadron Leader. Attended ETPS and subsequently was member of staff. Test Pilot with Handley Page Ltd. Test Pilot with British Aircraft Corporation (becoming British Aerospace) for 19 years and involved with VC 10, BAC 1-11, Concorde. Test Pilot with CAA becoming Chief Test Pilot. Practised for two years as freelance airline pilot. Aviation consultant since 1989. Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in the air, R.P. Alston Medal, Liveryman and Upper Freeman of the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators.
