| After legal training, operational RAF helicopter pilot, instructor and French Air Force exchange flying instructor. Graduate of Empire Test Pilots’ School in 1986. Military test pilot, Boscombe Down for 4 years. Nine years with Bristow Helicopters: pilot training, projects officer and test pilot, becoming Chief Test Pilot and Group Flight Safety Officer. Staff pilot and Flight Safety Officer, Metropolitan Police, 1999-2002. Independent test pilot and aviation consultant since 2002. Consultant test pilot to Bristow Helicopters. Served on national air safety committees. Geoff is also an elected Member of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and an Upper Freeman of the Guild of Air Pilots and Navigators. He has recently been selected as an Expert for the European Aviation Safety Agency in the fields of airworthiness, certification, operations, and training. He has 9800+ flying hours gained on over 60 types of aeroplane and helicopter. | |
