PPL 1978. graduated 1980 from Queen's University. Belfast with BSc(Aero).1st Class Honours. Joined Singer Link Miles as simulator test engineer in 1980. Reached position of Senior Systems Analyst (Flight Systems). having been involved in 10 different simulator acceptances (civil & military). PPL flying instructor / Ground examiner / Chief Flying Instructor. Joined British Island Airways as first Officer MD-83 in 1987. Formed BradAir Aviation Consultancy in 1988 as an independent consultancy to the airline industry. Joined British Midland (BM) as First Officer B737-300-400-500 in 1990. Consultant and acceptance pilot on BM's B737 full flight simulator. Promoted to Captain B737 in 1992. Appointed Operations Project Manager at BM (1993 -1997) with responsibilities for BM's Operations Departments R&D Section. Headed BM's upgrade of its HQ and associated airfield Emergency Response Procedures. Elected Fellow of the RAES in 1998. Expanded BradAir Aviation Consultancy into a Limited Company in May 1999 Converted to Fokker 100 1998-2002 2002 Transferred
within BMI group to bmibaby B737 as Training Captain (Line Training, TRI(A)
, TRE, CRMI) based at
East Midland airport with independent consultancy role outside flying
duties. 2006
Produce and conduct specialised training course for pre- command
training including Failure Management Training and conducting simulator
